My mouse is retarded.

When I drag it vertically, it's perfectly fine.

When I drag it horizontaly, across the length of my mouse pad, it goes like four inches. I cleaned out the gink inside my mouse, and it's still being stupid.

Anyone know how to fix this?

(By the way, my mouse sensitivity is at maximum)

You need a new mouse, simple as that. The sensors are screwed up on horizontal.

Ok, when you take the ball out, look at the little spinny things that when you touch the mouse moves on the screen. Look at the ends, and look VERY closely. There's probably some DUST that looks blended in with the mechanism, just use a toothpick or something to scrape it out.

Worked for me. If that's not the problem, I am completly stumped.

To dragonninja: Because I wanted to know if anyone could tell me how to fix it without calling my computer mouse's manufacturer's tech support? F-ing duh? Notice how it was solved in a few seconds.

I've had this happen before. It sucks. Have to get a new mouse, even if they are not costly it's still a bother.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN
