I was about to make a topic about this.

I just watched the news for about 3 hours. The anchor man on Fox interviewed a head official for the gas companies and asked him why they can't volunteerly lower gas prices 20 cent profit.

The guy replies back, "1973 is the answer....."

The two get into an arguement.

In 1973, there was a gas shortage and it was chaos like it is now, but I don't see what that has to do with now. He was saying some other balony too. Mostly about how the work they're best and there's no reason they should cut their wages. They didn't anything wrong.

The anchor man refered them as a cartel. I fully agree with him. They've monopolized the world.

All the complaints their getting, they are just laughing at them. They're only going to raise gas prices when they say they're working on lowering them. They're most definetly going to say, "Screw it, why should we go down when everybody's calm about being this high?"

It's just a large monopoly. That's all it is.

Yes, we are in a shortage, but that's no reason to be heartless. That's no reason to rise it to $6. No reason at all.

it's more than that hurricane, I dont even think the price has went up yet because of that. They shut down all the gas stations except for llike 20 in the city I live in, most of them Quik Trips.

ZKX: Hopefully, we'll have more hydrogen and full-electric cars out there in 2 years.

And gas prices are about the same up here. I think it was $1.20/L, with a litre being about 1/4 a gallon. Good thing I don't have a car.

heh, reminds me of a game Red had once. Some guy worked for an oil company, making cars, but dueing his spare time he made a hoverbord, that was powered on somethign stupid, like oxygen, i forget. well he made the prototype with the companys stuff, so it belonged to them legily but he dident give it to them so he was kidnapped by the company as the hoverbord dident use oil, so would ruin them, but your his best mate whos trying to run from the compand, free your friend, and pull of some sweet *** moves while your at it... its like a skatbording game but with... with a... a STORYLINE!

Anyways, I'm sure in 2 years the world will have worse problems to deal with than oil prices.

Anyway, yeah, haven't been watching the nes lately, but aren't the prices nearing $4.00?  That's ridiculus.
