Your favorite Video Game music

I think Danny Elfman composed the theme for Fable. A game soundtrack is recorded much like a movie's soundtrack now.

And Nobuo Uematsu (sp?) is well known for composing the music for Final Fantasy games.

But I'd have to say that the best music I've EVER heard in a video game was in Homeworld, for PC.

Anyways, what about you?

Chrono Trigger 12000 AD main theme and Chrono Trigger Main theme.

Also, the game over theme from CT was pretty nice, it was sad but still really nice to listen to as the same time.

Not as many FF songs as I thought. I always thought Liberi Fatali (FF8, aka Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec) was the best FF song.

Actually, Liberi Fatali and FLWV are two seperate songs.


But that's beyond the point. My favorite VG songs are probably Dark Messenger (FFIX), Man with the Machine Gun (FFVIII), Big Bad Baby Bowser (SMW2: Yoshi's Island) and Ancient Norfair/Magmoor Mines (Super/Metroid/Prime.

My personal favorite has to go to the alternate music in the Hyrule Temple level of Super Smash Brothers Melee, the Fire Emblem theme.
