Big deal. Final Fantasy VII wasn't truly  that great. It was OK, but to make it into prequels, sequels and a movie? Come on..
But I have to admit it might clear things up.

Agree'D. Now if they were talking about Metal Gear Solid it would be a different story.

Yeah, I for one will think it won't even have the ff7 music in it (Unless Nobuo is doing it). Its just another movie. Its and action movie with cloud in it. Big deal.

I'm pretty sure it'll have some of the same music (although remade to sound better than it did in the game). I know I heard two differant themes from the game in trailers, I'd think they would have some of those tracks in the movie as well, maybe not.

I don't think FF7 was that hot either, but being the second rpg I played (first was super mario rpg) it was like OMG. I think FF7 was the most popular though, and thats why they're making a sequal to this one. Plus FF9 had a few multiple endings (I think), so a sequal for that wouldn't work too well. Then a lot of people didn't like FF8 as much as the other two.

Even if FF7 wasn't too hot compared to some other games, I don't think it'll bring down the movie at all.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Just another game they are going to make into a movie and screw it up even worse in the process.

Doom
Final Fantasy has been screwed up already

nah I'm pretty sure there was a game... they had toys  too or something like that in the 90's.

Yeah there were a few games made for it, but the original alien movie came out in the late 70's, I'm not sure, but I think preditor came out in the 80's. Any games made on the two were originally based off of the movies.

Well the limited info I have on it heres what I think. If I'm right it'll be a spoiler though for you guys. ... Anyway, Sepheroth is dead, but he was made by jenova (sp?) cells. In one of the trailer clips, Vincent tells Cloud that if they (Loz and group I presume) wanted, they could make another sephiroth. I don't think  they would say that, then not go through with the idea. Anyway, I think that they're either going to make a sephiroth clone, or somehow revive him.

DragonBlaze: Off course the Alien and Predator movies were first. But the AVP is based off the game which came later.
