What you think so far? I can't wait to try this battle system. I loved Vagrant Story so much, so I have high hopes for this FF.

But whats with the femmy-looking protagonists?

Seriously, why can't they just make a guy look manly? Makes you wonder about the people at Square....

But I think I'm gonna like Fran or Balflear.

I think the concept artists at Square are gay. That explains everything.

I don't know. If they were gay then the females would be easily mistaken for males. Instead, the concept artists draw the females in g-strings.

So ghey may not be it. However, the way the character's clothes are slowly fading away I wouldn't be too surprised to see Rinoa running around completely naked and Squall running around in nothing but a cod piece (they would be making FF8-2 because they lost a lot of money when creating an FF that was shunned by world for its blatant homosexual themes). :p

In the SNES Final Fantasies the lead character would go all gaga over the female lead (i.e. Butz/Bartz and Faris in FFV). They would also flex their muscles or whatever that wierd animation is...

Almost as if Final Fantasy is gradually turning into a hardcore sex-adventure with poor story and crazy character introductions. :p
