Ah yes. It's true that Hideo Kojima based Solid Snake on Snake Pliskin from the movie "Escape from New York". There's even a refernce in MGS2 about it. (Snake calls himself Pliskin against Raiden).

That is totally true, Moosetroop. But what's the sense of the Final Fantasy Tactics team working on a game for the series? I mean it's like a 3D version of a Tactics game more than anything similar to a Final Fantasy game.
I'm looking out for the re-release of Final Fantasy III, that will certainly rock in one way or another.
The trailer I saw of this game seriously angered me.

FFVII could easily be mistaken for pornography... look at Tifa, Her breasts bounces whatever she does and Aeris skirtthingy almost shows the groin, and I dubt she wears panties...
And look at Selphie in FFVIII You can actually see her Panties if you take a close look... FFIX however made a HUGE mature turn: almost all females look rather childish, but not attractive though (atleast not TOO attractive).
FFX, hmm... Never played that game :p It looks rather fun though.

Square is ruining FinalFantasy... I wanna play more FF games that are like FFVI and FFIX
