Clearly not 2K3... unless you're some sort of super wize, but I know for a fact that with all those scripts, pictures, and then the pictures of shadows, animations, etc, you would have way to much slowdown with 2K3.
Originally posted by MeiscoolYou could've just looked at his birthdate, but meh.Not exactly upstaging you Leon, but I have no clue how XP works so I don't know it's capabilities. All I know is that the DBS is like Dragon Warrior, really crappy like that. Plus, he's got like what, five guys working on this, so it would have to be 5Xs as good as your thingamagummy to upstage ya.I still think you could come up with a better lvl up system then the already used in plenty of games sphere-grid style (when I say style, I mean everything that has a grid type lvling. From FFX to Jade Empire) already. I never liked the grid lvlings, especially the ones like Diablo Online. God that pisses me off.Anyways, I think something different would be better. Not the classic kill and gain exp one though, something else. Sorta like.... ok, I got it. If you kill a monster using the sword, then you lvl up your attack. If you kill with magic, magic lvls up. If you get hit a certin amount of times, your defence/health raises, however, to make sure that people don't just stand around and get hit ot raise stats alot, you'll have to put in a catch, like only one point per ten minutes or that you have armor that will break if it takes to many hits. That way, people won't be upping constantly. It also add more various ways of playing. For example, say that you are one of the guys that hates to use magic. Well.... you'll have a really high attack right? But, later in the game, say there is a monster that can't be hit with attacks because it has a really tough outer shell or it's a flying monster, you have to use magic to kill it. It makes that battle harder then the rest. Vice versa, if you went all magic, that battle would be easy, but other battles, like say duels with people or things that are resistant to magic, will be harder. As I said, I have no clue what XP can do, but I do know that the idea I put above can be done in 2K3, so I'm sure that you can do it in XP. But meh, whatever you want to use as your lvl thing is fine, just as long as it doesn't involve anything corny.
