--MAJOR UPDATE--
Completed the first secret dungeon
Completed the first secret boss (took me about 7+hrs to get it wroking properly)

hmm...
The maps look real funky.
and so does that boss.. but I like the way (I imagine) it to work.

What he does is he has 5 attacks that are selected at random. Here is how the playing field is (done in poor ASCII)

Attack 1:
He will bring his right hand(his right your left) to the side of the screen and attack taking 3 squares as it moves across the screen(you get plenty of warning time for this)

Attack 2:
He does the same except with his left hand.

Attack 3:
He moves his hand so they are apart from each other and attacks.

Attack 4:(here is where it gets tricky)
He brings both his hands together and attacks..you have to run to the top of the room to dodge it.

Attack 5:(you'll hate this one)
He does like in attack 4, but then he will move one space up and attack.You barely get enough time to escape (he does 150 dmg each hit) And you don'tknow what he'll do until it's almost too late.

yep, thats how I imagined his attacks.

You should try photoshopping him, or get someone to do so.
And hey, I didn't make fun of him, I just said he needs a new wardrobe :p

It was so hard programming him... The computer didn't want to do what it was told, and when it turned off the switch that allowed him to attack, the game crashed.. But after that 7 hours He's finally bug free!

Oh! to kill him you have to run up and smack him in the jaw. 40 hits sould do it.

Good sounding boss. Have no clue how it took you that long to program him but whatever. Sounds like a 1 or possbily 1.5 hour project to me. Anyways, that boss looks gay as Clay Ackin from American Idle. You seriously need to pimp him up, and those maps too unfit while you're at it. I mean... if it's a flying head with flying hands you shouldn't have a roof and walls by him, you should fall down a hole, land on a pillar in the middle of a river of lava, and then have a ton of free roaming space for you bossy friend.

And Archem, quit trying to be the next dude on here that gets to insult people and get away with it like the egg man and sometimes Leon. It's really really wannabeish.

What? I'm not insulting anyone! I'm just making a point. And I don't like the "fall into a room with lava" idea. That's too cliche. Even for me. Not to mention nobody likes the "something bad happens immediately when you get there" idea anymore. sorry to make you feel saddish... sadish... that's not a real word, so I don't know how to spell it... But the boss is pretty fun. Ignoring his lack of detail... Except at the end. That was pretty cool... Stop looking over my shoulder, Brian!!!

Meh, the pillar of lava was just an example. I'm sure DarkFlood2 can think of something.

And meh, if you can have fun with 2-bit detail go right ahead and have a blast, others require a bit more finesse in our games.

2: That bos is inside a secret dungeon underneath a castle
3: In said dungeon, you do go down about 4 flights of stairs.
5: I guess this would be better?

The guy looks better, but he still doesn't look that great.

As to the stairs, I didn't mean something deep in the ground, I ment an open area. Example:

Well, if it took you 7 hours to program that last one, I can tell you a short cut to programming this one. Shouldn't take you more then a few minutes actually, depending on how you do things.

Sorry, this made me cry. I made this with the rtp chipset. Admittably it's not great and needs more work, but you can see how the mountain tiles are used.

Its a custom chipset so that is why I can't do things like that... I would if I could, but I can't.. I'll try modifying it.
