The Broken Skies: The Phoenix's Birth
« on: December 03, 2005, 09:34:50 PM »
Okay this is still kinda in a beta state (Missing sprites stuff like that), but I feel like showing you all what I've been up to for a few months of thinking and writing things down.

Story:
For centuries life in this world has lived in for the most part peace. The people of the world have always fought with the skills given to them by the heavens, however there has always been something the greatest philosophers of the world could never figure out. Why did the legends of the world collected, all have one significate figure in them no matter where they were from, the dragon. Until today...an ancient reptile has been found in the northern recesses of the world, with a carbon date reaching almost til the dawn of man. A single soldier and his paltoon has been sent to investigate, this frozen being. Could this be one of the ancient dragons of lore, or something this planet has never seen before...

You don't see a whole lot of people using FF6 chars these days. At least this game will have a bit of difference to the others. Also, GoGo's recoloring sorta sucks.

the story reminds me of FF6, but a little different. the heroes kind of do also. I like it and I like how you have a merchant recolor, I always liked the merchant. I also love the tech skills you have there.

and Rogue is spelled wrong, unless you meant Rouge like the old cheek reddener thing. just thought you would want to know that. :)

Funny thing. There's a Rogue hero in the game I am developing, but i'm using XP. I won't go into that though.  Good luck!

hey guys, sorry for this but, I need a good icy mountains chipset or something that will blend in Mack+Blue chipsets, also a cave would help for realism, but I have alot of nice caves that will do. Also I'm closing on demo point, just I need that/those chipsets ^_~ thanks in advance!

This is the 1st of series of "natural" effects that will be in my game. (and no there isn't gonna be a night/day system) This one removes the odd "no water" cliche.
