I voted the Final Fantasy series, due to FF1-5 and Final Fantasy 8-9. The rest of that series has nothing to do with my taste for it, and I also like to play a good Zelda game now and then. Actually I should have voted both if only it were possible. Breath of Fire series could also get close, as well as the Mana series.

It may be apart of the dragon warrior series because its by enix, and it has most of the monsters. Think of an ABS Version of Drgon Warrior that tells the story of the dragon warrior. Its Like zelda meets LSD

I lub the Tales series. Tales of Destiny 2 is a really good (rare overpriced) game. The game has a nice nice nice nice battle system. It's not a turn table system though but the battles still own.
The game also has a lot of short mini games. That are fun, most of them can only be played once  though. The voice overs are decent......for it's time.. *cough* You can get it off ebay for around 60 bucks and if you want it factory sealed it's gonna cost you about 120 bucks lol

Try to stop me from calling FF7 crap.

Since some of you are asking for explanation, I'll tell you my opinion about FFs I-XI.

Final Fantasy I was a fun game to play, with comforting musical themes in it, and a pleasant gameplay, which hooked me for quite a while.

Final Fantasy II was more than a fun game to play; it was fantastic in both story and music (Pandemonium!!!), and was the one game that kept me hooked till the end of it, also seeing as it introduced [SHADOW]dragoons[/SHADOW], chocobos, malboros, eyemoebas and those other classic enemies to the series. To me it is the ultimate Final Fantasy, and does not deserve to be underrated.

Final Fantasy III is a game I still need to play properly, but what I already played of it was very fun.

Final Fantasy IV was actually the first FF I ever finished, and so it truly deserves my praise. It was great in story, though the American version was poorly translated, which I lately noticed while playing a retranslation. (Goblin=Imp Imp=Imp? That gives two Imps??)

Final Fantasy V is another excellent game I currently am playing, and actually has good humour for once. I hardly know what I'm going to face in the second world, so I'll just leave that subject alone for a while.

Well, I don't like 6 alot since it's very dark, unlike the previous FFs which were bright and colourful. Also, I didn't intensely like some of the musical pieces, like the main battle theme of it, which I found intensely annoying, putting me under pressure while fighting. If it weren't so dark and annoying, I would more like to play it. Why is this still being called Final Fantasy III though? Final Fantasy III is such a noble game compared to this, and does not deserve to be compared with this.

But 7?! Some say I would hate it just because of the countless FF7 fans who never even played it and praise it without a reason (even here...:badboy: ), but that is only one of the causes. Final Fantasy 7's story was going even farther out of place of the series, seeming to randomly start off at a bombing mission. But the graphics...ACK! Sometimes on a map, I couldn't easily recognize some stuff, while the battles seemed much smoother and the characters' battle sprites ironically looked better then, but then again the stupid looking sprites in FMV movies..they went to 3D a bit too fast? But the music, apart from the mediocre tunes (Those Who Fight Further...why is this being praised?) found its way to me by the One-Winged Angel, although he wasn't truly such a villain. (But those worthless creatures are trying to steal the planet from Mother...PLEASE.) What I still don't get, though, is that Sephiroth's soul was so easy to defeat at the end just by using an Omni Slash..?
In any case, 7 is a useless thing, even compared to FF6. They could have done so much with it, but they unleashed a monster instead.

A monster that should have disappeared with Final Fantasy VIII.
But Final Fantasy VIII was just called a bad game (What for? It's a revolution for the series, not a monster..), just like Final Fantasy VII was praised for no reason, and thereafter came the underrated Final Fantasy IX, which is actually a magnificent game which I am still playing to the end. (Memoria, anyone?) Final Fantasy X however does not really appeal to me, and the possible illness that killed me could be FFX-2, because what I already saw of it...PUT IT AWAY!!... Final Fantasy XI was in my possession for a while this week, however I returned it yesterday because it asked for too much care (payment, alot of information...argh). Final Fantasy XII is to me already the death of the series, seeing as it is merely another Final Fantasy Tactics with a screwed name, like those early 90s when they called most Square games Final Fantasy in North America. (Bloody Americans. Never again insult FF3.)

Oh my, more FF7 haters...we need a sticky for that! "I hate Final Fantasy 7". That would save us some reading, yes it would.

Anyway, 2006 has great great news when it comes to RPG....many awesome releases coming up! Prepare yourselves for bankrupt!

Basically, the whole "enemies lvl up as you lvl up" made the whole point of lvling up pointless, get the point?

It had a good plot and some good characters, but nothing other then that.
