cool, but it seems simple to do and kinda pointless without any textures.

ranges usually have general rise and fall don't they? I know this sounds silly, but it just looks like a bunch of mountains.

I think it looks pretty cool so far :) What program did you use to make it?

Thats pretty good, just need to be smoothed. Looks too meshey. It could, however, pass for a stalactite/stalagmite.

Yeah, the when the light reflects off of the object, it reflects in squares. If your laptop can't handle it, you may want to try to subdivide the faces or somehow smooth it out on a differant computer.

Another thing, the texture is too plain, there isn't any variations. Usually at the top of mountains they would be white, more at the bottom they would be green, you could make some of the mountains grey and whatnot as well. I don't know if blender can handle differant textures on differant faces. I used to use anim8or, and that could only have one texture per object. I use lightwave now and I can apply differant textures to differant faces. So yeah, if you can't texturize faces seperately, it may be hard to vary the texture in your mountains.

Anyway, so far its pretty cool. Did you make those for fun/practice, or were you planning to use them in a project of some sort?
