Well, shouldn't FreeWebs or Geocities already be good enough to host something?

Well not really. Sites like that don't really let you host files for downloading. You can't hotlink the download anywhere, and you have to have a full page. I guess you could refer everyone to your download page and have them download it off of there, otherwise freeWebs, Geocites, and places like that will delete your site after a few downloads. Plus the bandwidth usually dies after a little bit. And last time I checked, FreeWebs only allowed download speeds of up to 1 kb a second. Though they may have changed it.

I may check out your site or whatever when I get my all-purpose cbs or a demo of my game made. Otherwise I use savefile.com which seems to be pretty good.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Geocities only allows 5 mb files, and has horrible bandwidth limitations.

filelodge is a good free hosting site. Allows up to 500 MB and 50 MB per upload. I might try your site if its good though.
