3. No links to RPG Maker 2000, 2003 and XP. Providing links to this program can get Charas in trouble. You can talk about it, but you cannot link to it. Not even via PM!

That was taken off of the main page of the forums. Since the rtp is part of the rpg maker 2003 program, you can't ask for a link or anything on this forum, read the rules next time.

Why not do everything in the database yourself anyway? Using all your own characters, items, skills, ect. adds to the originality of the game. You don't need to use the defult of ANYTHING in the database. Sure its a lot of work, but it'll make your game better.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

It could be a problem with your translation of RM2K3. Try redownloading a different version of that (if you're not using it already, I recommend RPG Advocate's translation), then reinstall the RTP.

EDIT: Also, for future reference, questions that relate to RPG Maker should go into either the RPG Maker Programming or Tutorials forums. I've noticed that you post a lot of your threads in the wrong forum, and we generally frown on that, so I'm just gving you a heads-up.

That might be the problem. You should get them from the same place to ensure no problems occur.

That would be the same thing as giving you a link. So, sorry, we can't do that.

Nope, because you could just put it into Google and find the site.

The reason we don't give out links is because the translated versions of RM, as well as the RTP, are illegal in  most countries, and we could get Alex into trouble if we posted illegal content. So we have a very strict policy about not posting links to illegal stuff.

Darkwyvern, it's against the rules to post links to websites that have downloads to RPGmaker, or direct links to RPGmaker. But if you would like futher help on trying to fix yours, then only ask for that, please.
