Personally, I didn't like it.  I just didn't like the storyline. Chain of memory was worst. The card system was bad.

And who the bloody devil was arguing about rights?  I merely pointed out that saying a game is "crap" or "kiddie" without having first played it, is a load of hogwash.  Man, cool it on the First Amendment stuff.

Again, by looking at it, it looks kiddy. By looking at DDR, it looks like dancing. By looking at turned based battle screens of Final Fantasy, I expect it to be turn based durring battle. By looking at RE, I expect to kill abominations. By looking at God of War, I expect the game to have blood. By looking at playboy mansion, I expect to see boobies.

The "look" theroy can't be foiled. Hence: KH=teh kiddies.

It makes sense. but indeed we cannot judge by the looks. We can argue what it may represent, but not what it may contain.

Look theory? Ok, well, lets say that every graphic, name, and place (chip-wise) was different. Sora is a Barbarian, Donald is a black mage, and goofy is a white mage, (if you'll excuse the clichee) and they all look radically differnet, nothing "kiddy" about them.

You go around to save the 7 princesess of each world (who are all hot, and semi-nude for some reason). The worlds are such as a barren wasteland, mines, and hell (something lke Mortal Kombat deception, even though the map layouts sucked). The enmies are all satanic demons spawned from hell.

Gameplay is the same. Now what? Can the game stand for itself? Or does it still suck?

Now, I once had a game called "Pandemonium II", by the cover, you'd expect blood, carnage, serial killers. Now, once you put the game in the console, it looks like "Mickey Mouse Wonderful Vacations!" The look theory DOES. NOT. WORK.

Doesn't sound kiddy to me anymore, and that's my point. I myself like games that are more mature rather then childish, thus why I disliked KH so much. I never anywhere in my look theroy stated that KH looked like crap so it was crap.

Grandy: I'm talking more about commericals or in-game screenshots/movies, not covers or ad-posters. Those just show you what you want to see, commericals and the likes actually show you what it is.

Kijuki_Magazaki: So true, and thus that's why I never put any ratings into the look theroy. Some people my like kiddy games, some like gorey, most like titties. It's all in preference, I'm just stating that how they look often is how they are. And, I dislike games for children.

Okay, let me tell you how Famitsu works, and you will understand why a perfect rating is like, the shiz.

Famitsu doesn't work with one reviewer, not two, not even three, but four. They all four critisize the game, and give the game a rating between 1 and 10. Then, all points get to add up, making a maximum score of 40, and a minimum of 4.

THAT'S how you should see Famitsu.

I just didn't know what to say else than right. I mean if they don't like the game just by seeing it, no need to say it's stupid. This is their opinion. Whatever why and how they judge the game, it's still their opinion. If they don't like what they see about the game, they probably know they won't like it. If they say it's kiddie, it's probably because they don't like kiddie thing. You know, Disney is not for Mature people. Almost all movie from Disney are for kids. Sure, older people can watch them, but they were made for kid, so a game with Disney Characters may sound kiddie for some one. It's their opinion about the game. It's not stupid or a load of hogwash, like you said, it's just what they think about the game.
For exemple, did you play the Teletubbies game for PS? If not, look for image and tell me what you think of it.

Look theory...what a wonderful logical fallacy this is.

And commercials don't show you the real game, what are you talking about?  A poster is just as much a medium as a television.  The media tend to air any commercial that fits U.S. guidlines, not if it doesn't show a biased representation.  Companies endorse their own commercials.  Why would you think commercials are better at showing you the real game than a poster?  Because it's actually "in-game"?  There have been many times that I have seen a screenshot and went "what a cool looking game!" and played it and brought it back to Blockbuster that night.

Oh, of course, you mean TRAILERS, oh, my, my, I mean, it's just that time I bought the Ultimate Spiderman game (don't buy, it sucks), and it had an bonus trailer of X-Men Legends II, oh, and it showed only those cool movie cutscenes, with a great 3D and battle sequencies, and I thought "I MUST buy this game!" and I bought, and it SUCKS!

Nah.

Just cause 4 people get together and review a game, doesn't mean I should care what they have to say. If I got Bush, Howard, Blair and... Hitler. Together to review FF7, would I care about the end result?

"Well I didn't quite understand how to play, the guides on the internets told me to press the X button, but all my controller had was a button with a + on it."
"I know one thing this game has. Foreign creators. Just another fine example of what can happen if I give all of Australia's jobs to foreigners."
"Tally ho, what what? I say, this game is right splendid, pip pip! Tea and crumpets?"
"HEIL EIN FUHRER!"

In the end, screw those guys.
