It also mentions how he was a meme on 4chan, Something Awful, and the internet in particular.

Now, what sort of self respecting newspaper would mention a place like 4chan, with its random porn, or Something Awful which has things like FYAD?

NOONE EVER. Putting that in the paper is equivelent to this in your local newspaper
"A child pornography website has been found. The FBI are operating to have it removed. While it is still up, you can view it at http://www..."
