Does it matter what map you create first or you have to go from the start map(the one where you put starting position).

No it doesn't matter. On any map that you make, whether it be the first or the last, you can right click where, an box shows up, and one of the options is 'Place party starting possition'. A special event box shows up on the screen, and you have your new starting possition

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN
