Stupid Contreversies

Ok heres the problem, I need to write a paper on a contreversy of some sorts. It can't be about abortion, violence in video games, evolution, death penelty, lowering the drinking age, or legalizing marajina, other than that, its all good. And it needs to be something that can be argued for or against.

So what are some contreversies that are kinda stupid and could be turned into a humerous paper. I need to write a whole 5 pages on it and I'm too lazy to look up a bunch of details on a specific narrow topic.

Example, I thought about writing it on recycling, and how its EVIL since it causes more damage than good (in everything but aluminum), its true! The byproduct of ryclcled paper creates a toxic sludge, and yeah. I decided against this because there wasn't really any creditable sources on this.. (By the way, I recycle )

So yeah, what contraversies are do you think are kinda broad and easy to write about?
