Problem

When I open up the Charas.Ex file, all the buttons have no text on them so I can't tell what they do. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I would suggest reinstalling it. If you have an old or strange version of Windows (ME or even XP sometimes) they sometimes dont work properly.
If reinstalling doesn't work, the buttons are in order:
Tabs at top:
Body   Head   Hair   Suit   Item 1   Item 2   Item 3
4 buttons below animated pictures:
Background    Reset
Save Picture   Copy to CharSet
If there are other problems write here.

Yea I got win XP, but it use to work on my computer I had to delete it and get another. I've tried a few different versions and they all do the same. I've tried renstalling, that doesn't work. So I'll just write down the buttons on a piece of paper. Thx for the help tho.
