Very... different. I think it could use a bit more work on the rhythm part and a little more melody than a repeated weow noise.

A little heavy on the effects, but very reminicscent of Aphex Twin. I like it.

Here's something I just made up last night. A small little riff. I like to call it my gay emo pop-punk riff. It's short. There's no point in making it longer, if I were to actually make a song out of it' it'd be the smae but just with some power chords in the background or something...

Emo riff

lol the first thing I found out. When playing stoned the strings sing stories. But only to you. To everyone else it's kinda not there. The last one sounds good, because it also sounds liek the most put together. The heavy effectsy one was too non rythmical for me.

That acid bubbles thing would have been awesome if there was some bass and a beat.

Thanks for the feedback, ya'll. And no, Razor, I just made up teh riff. It means nothing.

My latest installment consists of 3 songs. Im putting them on a demo CD. For the most part, all of them are improvised.

Song 1
I had the intro for this written a long time ago, when I first started playing. The riff after it is just an improv riff to go along with it. The other one is improv with no basis or structure, just going with whatever comes to me. The solo's ok, could have been better I suppose though.

Song 2
This one's my personal favourite. If anything, it's because of the solo at the end. Short but sweet, and turned out better than I could have asked for. I wanted to do something different, hence the intro...

Song 3
Completly different from what I'd normally do. I've turned off the distortion and slowed down the pace. The solos turned out rather nicely. Just to be safe, I stayed on a scale for the most part with the solos, but still it came out pretty good. The fade out at the end's great, too.

They're alright, but they don't quite flow enough. If you'll understand, t heyloses their pace a bit here and there, and some of the notes seem awkward and out of place. Be like me, and be ever-hypercritical of your work; it always comes out better in the end. Of course, who am I to judge? I suck at guitar...

I like them. They're pretty sweet. What kind of amp do you have? Mine has really low quality distortion, so I'm thinking of buying a new one.

Right now I'm using a crappy Marshall 10W. I use a pedal on a few of the songs for distortion instead of recording directly from the amp. I like the pedal's tone better.
