What's the problem with gays? It's a lifestyle choice. If people want to be against it, so be it, but it's no different than choosing your religion or political view or anything.

This is not true at all. Homosexuality is caused partly by genetics and partly by psychology, although isolating a single factor is impossible. No one who is heterosexual can 'choose' to be homosexual anymore than a person who loathes a certain kind of food can 'choose' to enjoy it. Furthermore, most people are born into their respective religions. There is usually hardly any choice.

You could've summed it up by saying: "Fate"  ;)

A very good point. But then we can compare it to mental and physical handicaps - is racism against a person born with no arms justified? Or even better, are we 'allowed' to deny rights to a person with schizophrenia?

An awful evil lack of light,
noobs will swollow up the day,

The skys will darken, the seas will burn,
During these times, the creator Alex shall return!"

And of course, his return will mark a new age of charas where all will be peaceful and civalized.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Perhaps you meant 'discrimination?' It is not justified to be antagonistic in denying rights towards people who are less fortunate than oneself. However, we feel that hetero and homosexuality should not be made into a dichotomy, first of all.

When you ask 'allowed,' you touch on something as intangible as 'what is right?' We can do what would keep ourselves from being harmed.

Would you board a plane which a schizophrenic was flying?

Of course I would, because

a) I probably wouldn't know if he was a schizophrenic
b) he would probably be taking some sort of drug to supress his condition
c) I tend to put my trust in people, which will be my downfall one day, but it's better to decieve than to be decieved.

Would you?

Yes, I would
My sister has that desease, and what people view on it and think about it is not true. A schizophrenic can work in society as well as anybody else. The only difference between us is that she has a chem imbalance and I don't. She's a regular person like all of us.
Had to say that... >_>

I have to state that you are getting on tangents. Omega Weapon can use the same example and give a similar response to:

"Or even better, are we 'allowed' to deny rights to a person with schizophrenia?"

With a similar list of maybes and unknowns.

That is good to hear but we think Warxe_PhoenixBlade's central thesis is if we should or are allowed to somehow treat visibly different people differently. We say that it should be on a case-by-case basis.
