There's nothing wrong with my answer, unless the other one left before the morning.

Oh wait, you never said the other person didn't leave that morning, so maybe they both left in the morning.

Either you need a better riddle or you should phrase it more specifically.

New riddle.

A doctor and his son were in a car crash,the father died,and the son needed surgery.The surgeon said "I can't operate,this is my son!"

New riddle:

A taut rubber band connects a wall to the back side of a toy racecar 1 meter away. Starting at time t=0, the racecar drives away from the wall at 1 meter per second, stretching but never breaking the rubber band. At the same time, an ant resting on the rubber band near the wall starts to move toward the racecar at 1 centimeter per second. Does the ant ever reach the racecar? If so, in exactly how much time? Why?

The car eventually stops because of the equal force exerted by the elastic energy on the rubber band and the ant walks onto the race car. the time is determined by the length of the rubber band at the maximum length it can sustain.
