Doesn't you need to change the format?

Yeah nero.

Easy and you don't need all that styling crap.

And I do think formatting is optional.

By format I mean:
It's a .mpeg, does DVD uses .mpeg? Don't we need to change another .something ?

EDIT: Just checked it. You'll have to use a DVD-format converter, there is Nero Vision or something, but from what I undertood you won't be able to make a DVD without a hardware to burn especificaly DVDs. But I could be wrong.

You should look for .rmvb files, thei're way smaller. I'm downloading some One Piece episodes, a .avi would take one day, at best, to download, but downloadng .rmvb, it takes half an hour, at max.

I can't find any converter to it, though.

Hehe, I recently discovered those too. I had the latest South Park episode in 5 minutes, instead of the useal 28. :P

.rmvb are good, but I heard they're not good on HDTV.

.rmvb don´t have as good quality as the others...These I´m getting are DVD rips, so they´re pretty much perfect sound and videowise...RMVB is for animes: watch and discard. I got the whole BECK series in rmvb and deleted it. I´ll get it again, in good resolution, to make a DVD with it!

Yeah, pretty much. But the resolution isn´t suited for TV and stuff...It´d look shabby.

I used to have an avi/mpeg > DVD converter. Was something with cucosoft.

Google it, you'll probably find something.

I did find a .rmvb > .avi converter. But then I'd have to convert again to DVD and it was with a huge, ugly watermark in the middle of the screen.

I like .rm files (same thing as rmvb just differant name). Anyway, its about a mb a minute usually. With my dial up connection, I can download a 20 minute show in an hour. Yeah, the quality is really bad, but I'd rather be able to download 24 crappy espides of something than one good quality episodes of something in a day.

I found an rm to avi converter (I think it was called rm to avi converter :p) anyway, it worked, but it didn't work too well. So instead of burning it to a video dvd, I burn it to a data dvd, put it in my computer, and run it out to my tv from there. If I do that, I can put 150 shows on a dvd, where if I converted it, I could put around 12 shows on a dvd. Plus half of the time, the files wouldn't even burn to a dvd for some reason.

Back to converting things. Nero is good, but a lot of nero programs won't let you burn things to dvd that aren't already converted, nero express for example won't let you (I think). Just get nero ultra and you'll be able to convert and burn stuff.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN
