You know what I haven't seen (prob'ly because I only scanned over the lists), but think should be mentioned? Rob Zombie. Not the more recent stuff, but the older music. Who else overlooked this?

Im' lsitening to Free Bird right now, I love this song. Anyone ever hear the live version of Moby Dick by Led Zeppelin? It has an insane 8-10 minute drum solo.

Yeah I have the DVD. Its amazing. Only drummers that top Bonham in my book are Danny Carey and Chad Smith.

I need to get more in tuned with musics great artists of the past. It's pretty sad really, but I couldn't give you any names from bands like Led Zeppelin... Hell, I have hard enough time naming the bands. Probably cuz I don't actually listen to classic rock. I should, though.

My friend showed that to me once.. it was insane..

Of course, drummer wise, I would have to say Jan Axel von Blomberg's my favourite.

Donīt worry, Led Zeppelin sucka major. You should look at the Grunge generation though.

Sorry to revive this, but I got an Slipknot question: all their albums sound like the last one or the last one is an improvement, or one of a kind thing for em? Cause I really liked it and Iīm thinking about getting all their albums...(the last album is heavy too, but not THAT much)

I only have their last one, but judging by some of their older songs I heard, I find it an improvement.

If you want a band that constantly changes style each album, go for Death. I heard no album is alike. But that's probably because there are almost always different members except the guitarist.

But thatīs exacly what I donīt want...I like bands that improve and make better songs every album, without changing styles. Like NIckelback. The only band I tolerate to change styles is Silverchair, cause Daniel Johns is talented to the point that anything he does comes out perfect. The rest, I like em to remain in the style, like Offspring. Green day changed a bit, but not enough to suck.

Where is Mr. Mister? (seriously, I just noticed that he disappeared!)

Seriously, Death is awesome with changes. Makes it fresh every time.

If you want a band that improves per album, go for Atreyu if you haven't already.
