Yes, I too agree, but this is too intriguing to pass up. I mean, the video for the PC version kept getting even more and more unbelievable each time they zoomed out, and the idea of something that insanely awesome being put on a handheld as inferior (well, in comparison to a computer) as the DS is just mind-blowing! I might get both...

I'm just gonna get the PC version. I was reading about this game in a magazine called computer gaming world the other day, and it sounded ubelievable. I guess its supposed to take 67 years of nonstop playing to explore  all the worlds and everything.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

I KNOW I'm gonna get the PC version, but depending on how well they can put it on the DS, I might get that one, too. I like the idea of creating entire worlds on the way to Wal*Mart.

I read in compter gaming world that there were somewhere around 2 million stars in the spore universe, and each star has 2-3 planets. From what I read though it sounded like other players may live on those stars. Anyway, if you have millions of players playing the game online, each would get their own planet, so it makes sence. But yeah, they'd have to have a random planet generator or something to do that.

Well, it isn't going to be an MMORPG. However, if by "player" you maybe mean "another person's species" then yes, that makes sense.

It's going to be single player due to the fact, well, you saw the video. *insert planetary explosion here*
