Meh. I'm not too fond of American cartoons. The drawing technique tends to be simplistic and lazy and the backgrounds show little skill... fact is, American animation is normally simplistic.

Of that statement, only true word is simplistic. They are anything but lazy, they just prefer simplistic images. Look at classic japanese artwork. Compared to some animes, its relatively simplistic. Not everyone in the world wants to watch anime, and, lets face it, American/British cartoons did come first.
