PS3, Wii, or Xbox Live?

i like rap and rock. both the same, none lesser than the other.

But anywho. Wii all the way. already have the money for it, just waiting til release date. cant wait to get all those legal downloadables either. Red Steel and Twilight Princess and SSBB... *droool* with some Spore in the PC too! Gawd this last quarter of the year and early 2007 will be awesome.

I'll buy the ps3 when it costs $99.97.

My first choice will be PS3 then after another few montyhs of saving up, a Wii.

PS3: because of RPGs (FINAL FANTASY XIII!!!!) MGS4 and AC4 mostly and the PS3 will supposedly support dual monitors so im guessing no split screen YAY.
Wii: because I like nintendo and the fun and original games that come out on their systems. PS3 and Xbox really just kinda have more of the same...FPS, RPG, Sports games.... Nintendo always has different and enjoyable games on their systems.

The original xbox never caught my attention because the games either
A) Were on other systems or for computer
B) Werent very good
C) I Didnt care for them

I expect the Xbox360 to be more of the same. The original never really had a huge RPG game-base and it was overpopulated with shooters and sports games (which most were also on PS2 or PC).
Also, Xbox Live, I really dont care for because any game worth playing online is usually more fun on a PC.

Though I guess in terms of graphics, the Xbox had it for last generation but look at how many computers have better graphics than the xbox. The next gen consoles will be the same, graphics will be really sweet for a year then computers will start looking better because Moores Law is still pretty much in effect and computers always get more powerful and overrun the consoles. Already there are comp graphics cards that can smoke PS3, 360 or any consoles graphics. Namely the 7900GTX and X1900XTX so far are the most powerful cards on earth AFAIK and the new consoles use older generation graphics chips.

My first thing will be for me is to upgrade my computer because no matter what console i get, I'm still a PC Gamer at heart. I have prolly 12 Gamecube games but at least 50 PC games and PCs last longer than consoles. PC games have been around since pre-NES and will be around for longer than PS3,4,5,6,7,8........because remember, consoles come from computers...

Dude, what do you mean? Here in Brazil works like this:

The Japanese in Japan make the videogames. Then, the chinese people bring the videogames to Brazil (they ARE chinese) with a weirdly low price. Most of them get arrested. The ones that get away make chips to be planted on the videogames that allow us to buy pirate games, for obvious low prices.

Japanese work hard. Chinese steal and get rich (but donīt get dental treatment). Brazillians buy from chinese and become happy people.

I was atracted to the Xbox mainly because at the time it was cheaper than upgrading my computer to it's level and it had some good games, and even though I can see why others may choose a different system, I still think the Xbox is a good console. People say it doesn't have a lot of good games, but I look to my left at my game rack and see: Halo, PSO, Ninja Gaiden, Morrowind, Grand Theft Auto, Def Jam 2, Jet Set Radio Future, KOTOR, MGS2. Yes, many of these may be on other systems, but tha argument is moot - it goes both ways. Why get a PS2 for Grand Theft Auto? Xbox has it too!

They're all good systems in the end. It's just a matter of which ones I want to get first.

Ok, make a thread for your music mindingness. Right now on this thread gaming is more an important matter than music.

Go on that I wanna debate about video game systems on a video game system thread and not read about music origins and beliefs and opinions on this thread. It is alright to side talk, but not side debate.

Two debates with one not being off-topic it's gonna drive me and this thread crazy.

Anyway, what I meant was that the motion sensor controller couldn't be used to emulate the cool moves seen in some games. Yeah, there is the other controller, but seeing as the other controller is two handed, you couldn't use the motion sensor controller to do the varitety of cool moves.

Fine maybe stfu was a bit harsh but i have been to too many forums and im sick of seeing good topics take a bad turn because of some idiot who wants to start up an argument... also, charaman already stated wut you just said and in a better way than yelling at me.
But once again we are getting off topic so i dont want to further this with any more rambling.

On Topic:
The secondary controller for the Wii doesnt seem too bright... a gamecube controller would actually serve well to emulate the SNES controller since it has the 4 buttons in generally the same area and it has a D-pad and they could transfer the controls of the analog stick into D-pad commands. I also heard that the moon shaped PS3 controller was kicked for a more PS2 looking one (prolly old news by now or a rumor...). Looks like innovation is taking a backseat to practical use.

I am going to get a Wii no doubt about that... I'll end up getting a 360 when halo3 comes out, however, I will NOT get a PS3! Firstly, cost is a very big issue. Screw FF13 or whatever if it's going to take $500-600 dollars to get a PS3. Next, Sony's arrogant marketing stance. They're digging their own graves and don't even realize it.  I am not anti-Sony, I just dislike what they think is the best idea ever. clearly their heads aren't screwed on tight enough.. But that's just me ranting.

In conclusion:

Wii: yes.
360: yes but later.
PS3: NO.
