It's hard to explain really.  I suppose when the game was made, they focused to heavily on making the graphics good to distract the usage of similar plots that have been used in the other final fantasy's.  I suppose I felt since it was moving to a superior system, they should've played with the plot, rather than the graphics.  Granted the Sphere Grid was an interesting twist (That I actually liked), I just couldn't get into the game.  It was sort of like Inuyasha for me.  It started out slow, and when you felt there was going to be a rising action, or even a climax, before you knew it, it was slow again.  Also, it had sort of a Halo 2 feel to it.  When Halo came out, it was considered a god among games (From where I'm from.).  So when the sequel came out, a lot was expected from it, and it just did not deliver.

And why?  Batman would so beat Superman.  Batman's ability to put whatever he needs in battle into his belt is superior to anything Superman can do.  This is because He can put Kryptonite into his belt and then Superman is done.

He did, actually, somewhere, when he fights Supes. Just don't remember what it was in... Either cartoon or comic book, but not sure which one... Plus, he just plain owns.

Apparently, in the comics, Batman's beat up Superman multiple times.

But that's a bit off topic. I like to think that if a remake's done well, no one should care that it's a remake.

I believe it was Batman vs Superman, when they classhed due to Luthor's plot with The Joker ( I think, or a rewssurected form, I can't entriely recall). It was the beginning of the devine World's Finest series.
