If only they could take the ball with the hands and ram the other players...damn that needs intelect.

Brazil's gonna play tomorrow, and I won´t have to work because of that. Could it be better :D???

So, Japan scored an early controversial goal (they knocked down the goal keeper and scored, but the ref didn't see it)

But then in the last 8 minutes, Australia got 3 goals. Zoom.

Basically, Japan got owned.

Google Japan Australia, and you can go streight to the WC page to see how the match progressed. Lots of yellow cards.

Yeah he is, I actually watched the match. I expected more from both of them, and Japan's goal was controversial, but there was a penalty commited against a japanese player on the last minutes which wasn't seen by the referee, that could have changed the match.

About the US- Czech Republic match, I didn't expect a 3-0 against the US, I thought that the match would be more tight, according to the US's tactics (which are rather similar to the english tactics, only that more deffensive), but the czech's where really smart to open up the field... besides, having to defend yourself against some 2.02 meter tall forward (Jan Koller) is really tough.

Italy beat Ghana by 2-0, but they didn't deserve to win, they defended the whole match and got both goals from two deffensive mistakes by Ghana. Besides the referee didn't "see" (or didn't want to see, they where rather viewable...) two penalties for the africans...

GO AUSSIES GO!!! CAHILL IS A GOD!!!!!

That game was the most heart wrenching Aussie game I have seen since our world cup entry. Damn that was good.. yer we have a few areas to look at, but damn, we won!

I'm surprised to seee that Brazil won by just 1 goal.

Togo lost 2-1. Thats a damn shame cos they were doin so well until their captain Jean Paul Abala received his second yellow card and was sent off. A goal was scored on that free kick and it went down from there for Togo.

draw to France.. draw to Switzerland... LOL You would have figured that South Korea would be top of da table.

I wasnt that surprised with brazil. They played very well but I noted they were, not holding back, but being conservative. Of course Croatia played very well too.

I couldn't watch the whole match between Brasil and Croatia, but the part I saw showed that Croatia is fairly more dangerous than what others think. France's match bored me almost as much as Portugal's. Switzerland played better than the french, and about South Korea and Togo, I could only watch the ending of the match, when Korea had control of the ball and made the game really slow. Pretty smart tactic.

So you're saying the US actually defended? I though they would have been offensive as always, bombing the other team's players with popcorn and hotdogs.
