They just wanted some sword fighting man. <.<

And now all the Samurais are DEAD. What does that tell you?

Also officially in North Korea, when the former dictator died, all animals cried and a thousand pigeons flew his body to the heavens.

Spoilers: There's a thousand dead pigeons and one dead dictator floating in space.

That was exactly my point <.<  did you read how i started talking about the samurai (with no S mind you)?

But in truth, they are not all that death. It's true.

Meh, my personal view on the political climate is that it's going to get worse before it gets better.

I'm also rather certain that the main reason we haven't had a war on the scale of World War II since then is the prescence of nuclear weapons. "Unstable countries" or not, most national leaders are smart enough to know that the next major war is going to involve nukes, and no one really wants a nuclear war that could destroy the majority of the human race. Of course, all it takes are a few nutjobs getting ahold one of them to seriously cause a lot of trouble.

Huh what? Oh, Iraq? Yeah, they're screwed. We can't leave or the country will erupt into civil war. We can't stay, because no one really wants us there, despite the fact we're the only things stopping all-out civil war. Screwed.

To tell you the truth, the civil war in Iraq had started even before the US's invasion. Sunnits and shiits have been fightitng each other even before Saddam was on the power. The truth is that the conflict is far from stopping, the troops, like it or not, aren't helping, but stimulating the fight, and if the US troops, along it's allies leave, there will still be a conflict, only that the US won't have the control of it to turn the tide for the side it likes.

About the dead terrorist, well, I saw that one coming, from the video the guy had shown before. He seemed like dead meat. The thing is that killing that one guy doesn't affect Al Kaeda a bit, he could be a leader, but there are thousands of other leaders who have not shown their faces and still control that terrorist organization. They won't let the dead of just a pawn stop them, too bad, because of that the conflict will never end...

Several sources confirm that Al Zarqawi did survive the bombing but he was dragged out of an ambulance and beaten to death. Wether it was by soldiers or by iraqis I don't know.
And I don't agree that his death won't have any impact. Though there're another guy ready to take his place it has shown that Al Quida isn't untouchable.
