It seems like every time someone brings up music, someone has to say "Rap sucks." Dude, c'mon. Even if you dont like it, respect opinion man.   Like, it cant even be a "Eh, I dont really like it." It has to be put in a way that one of the 3 Hip-Hop lovers on this forum of 20,000 people gets offended. Which in turn, when they try to defend their music, every other member lashes out at them.  Even if you have listened to what some call "real" hip-hop and still dont like it, respect opinion.



Edit: ...But er...when it comes to that R. Kelly song.."Feelin' on yo Booty"....yeeaaahhh...that sucked.

First off, let me correct you...R.Kelly's ''feeling on your booty'' is NOT rap. That is r & b. So please, don't confuse the two   Also, I actually like rap..but then again I like all types of music so....yeah. I want someone to give me supporting facts that show all rappers do is talk about ***, sex, drugs, money, ***, and more sex. Please do, give me a long list of names and songs. I will kindly rip your post to shreds while defending rap with a smile, ^^.

I'm not sure if that post is supporting me or going against me but I know R. Kelly isnt rap. I just dont feel the need to type the genre of music after every song. But hey, I love underground. Felt 4 lyfe, holmes.

Well I kinda agree, if you want to say rap sucks, you should really say I THINK rap sucks. That way your presenting it as your own opinion and not as a proven fact

Well, if it's their opinion that all rap sucks, shouldn't they be allowed that opinion just as much as you're allowed the opinion that it doesn't?

Music is music, I'm not a fan of rap or hip-hop and even I get mad when peole say "rap isn't music!" Yeah, ya retard, it is, it's just a different type of music. But it swings both ways, plenty of people in my school hate rock and think every single rock song is just screaming idiots, loud guitars, and banging drums. People seriously need to learn to be more open and make their own opinions NOT based on biased stereotypes.

Me personally i love rap , i can't live with out it ,right now im listening to rap, I get mad when people say rap sucks because some people think rap is about sex dugs and money,im open to all kinds of music i like some rock,but if i don't like the anyones certain type i keep my opiaon to my self.

Rap period doesn't suck. I'll listen to old 80's rap it it's on the store radio or somethin. Its this gangsta rap **** that sucks, and thats my opinion. If you think rap is good, and I say it sucks balls, by all means tell me that rock sucks. I really don't care. Rock rules, but you can say whatever you wanna say, that's the beauty of freedom of opinion.

The 80s was so much better. These days you got so many rap "artists" who all sound terrible, I shudder at the mere mention of their name. Back in the 80s it was a lot better.

See, it couldn't be about them getting sex, drugs and money.. Becuase the only real thing they could get is drugs.. and it seems like they already got them a while back... Same goes for hip-hop.. YUCK.
