The legality is really no big deal, since we're both minors. And we're not dumb, so we're not gonna go run and tell everyone. I really didn't even want to post this on charas, I just wanted to know about hotels and I got a bunch of moral advice. :p

Just remember that no matter what you tell yourself, if you're both underage it's still statutory rape. You legally have no right to consent to sex and neither does she. That means rape.  The point of the law, as you may have guessed, is to point out just how incapable an underdeveloped brain is of making well-informed and wholesome decisions. Your brain is still growing and making new connections, forming new thoughts, and honestly making such a big decision, especially an illegal one, isn't such a good idea. But there's my two cents.

Actually, the legal age of consent is 16, so if you both are, then you shouldn't get in trouble with the law.  Her parents, however, are another story......  hehe.....  

Make sure you don't walk into your house with used condom still on your d!ck.  That might pique your parent's interest.

That's another reason I wouldn't do it. Honestly, I wouldn't do anything that would ruin the trust her parents have in you (if any) and I wouldn't want any girlfriend of mine to do anything her parents don't want her to. Because when you break up with her, she'll still have her parents, and she'll have to live with the consequeces of her actions with you forever.

Yes, Trev, I do understand that it's a big decision to make. I also understand that my brain is still growing and developing. But also, I don't think the law has the right to tell me I'm not capable of making such decisions. Some people are and some people aren't at this age. Am I one of them that is able? I don't really know. All I know is that a better check every angle before making a complete decision. The point of this thread was to merely see if I was capable of renting a room. People merely assumed I was most defintiely gonna 'get some'. It really doesn't mean anything accept that it has crossed my mind once or twice and that we've talked to eachother about it. I mean no disrespect by saying this, but Trev, you are only 2 years older than me. Now I know that to the law that means a lot, but to me and the people that live under the influence of the law, two years is only two years.

The decision to stay abstinent or not is defintiely a big one. It's got loads of consequences, bad and good. Mostly bad. I would only want to lose my virginity if every part of it felt right. And it's not only my decision, but hers. I would never do anything if she didn't feel it was right 100%. Your posts have made me think though. Whether they'll change my mind or not, I don't know, but they've definitely made me think even more.
