I'm new to rpg maker and i was wondering how to make people join your party and then dissapear for good. I use erase event to make them dissapear but then they're back after i mover to a different map.

Use switches. Click search at the top of this website and type in Guide to Switches, and click on one of the threads that pop up. It will show you how to use switches.

that is good for npcs that you hire in the game if you want that. Die evil corrupted switches die!
