Battle Text
« on: January 03, 2007, 05:55:38 AM »
Okay, I just installed RPG Maker 2000 onto my computer. But whenever I go to the "Battle Test" and test a battle the character's names and abilities and battle options are not their. the Box is empty.. I have done what the Troubleshooting said, but it still won't work. So how can I make the text appear?

Did you make sure you added a hero to your party? If you did and none of that stuff is showing up, try test playing your game and getting into a battle instead of using test battle and see if that has any differance. My suggestion though would be to upgrade to rm2k3.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Well see, I did have Maker 2003 on my computer, but the problem with that is the Animations would work in the "Animation" Tab, but if you went to the "skill" tab, none of the animations would work... Or even in the damage thing. The animations were built and everything, but wouldn't work. I will try a test game instead of battle though, to see if it changes.
