There's plenty of cards that don't require you to flash your DS.
Flashing your DS isn't even that dangerous.
All you have to do is follow a guide. You take the battery cover off of your DS, and jam a piece of metal into somewhere. It'll short out a circuit, which will allow you to use the shittier flashcards.
There is a risk of jamming it in the wrong spot and fuckin your DS, but you can find a guide on where to jam.
Also, the top tier cards, like I said, do NOT REQUIRE YOU TO DO THIS

I giggled when I read that.  that sounds like something my brother would say.  also, if you die, aren't you technically always dead forever.

When I said risk, I meant the flashing of commercial roms and getting caught.

Au contraire! Let us not forget the monstrous mistake of one Victor Frankenstein? 'Twould be quite the tragedy! Death is intended to last forever, yet who's to say it shall remain in its natural order? "Not I", says the sheep!

good news, money's alittle tight here (we're managing though) but my sister is going to pay for one of the games so hurray to the slimly increased chance that my wish list will be fullfilled.  she said she's keeping an eye out for trauma center so, hurray for that too! :D

Wait you mean rom hacking

we've had that since the 90s

It's a bit different with NDS as it has a filesystem within instead. NDS games tend to have filetypes and etc. There is a tool that browses the folders and files within a NDS game. It is rather interesting and has currently nothing to do with hacking, if anything it could become more like modding a PC game than romhacking.

I see a lack of the Phoenix Wright sequel in the list. Lunar knights is indeed a fun game, even if the voiceovers are a bit bad and the story is anticlimactic at the end.

Well, if you don't already have it, I'd recommend getting FF4 for the GBA. It's not exactly DS but it's still good. Also, i've heard a rumor that FF5 is coming out on the DS.. Buy that too.

I would have said that, but I've yet to play it.

And FF5's already out, as is 6.

I'm waiting for the expectable & on DS.
