The Pac Man- A Vid
« on: June 16, 2007, 01:45:27 PM »
This time we were asked to make a video that used at least one pixelation sequence. So we came up with a horror movie about one of the world's most notorious villains- Pac Man.

IMPORTANT- Veoh has for some reason messed up the timing on the titles again. You are missing titles...the first occurs right before the first news broadcast. It says "Channel 13 news"...for some reason it instead freezes on the news broadcaster. The second is during the broadcast when Pac is reading out his list of demands (it freezes on the newscaster instead).
The third occurs right before the part that's black. It says "Exclusive Witness Footage."
There are some other ones in the actual credits missing...like, you know- ME...who wrote, edited and directed it...but meh. Maybe if you download it, it'll show up properly.

THOSE TITLES AND FREEZING VIDEO ARE NOT MY FAULT. IT HAPPENS ONLY ON THE UPLOADED VERSION

Zelda, Tetris, Zeppelin?! This soundtrack is better than a Hollywood movie! And Clyde is, as always, the odd-ball ghost. Greatness. And that Pac-Man scream is a perfect fit! Amazing job!

Sally Mander? Ridiculous!

That was amazing. Fantastic.

When I said I'm jealous of your friends, I meant that you actually have people that would understand that stuff. If I suggested we do a Pacman thing for a school film, I'd probably be punched and then sworn at ^.^

Then again, we're all a little older and less irrational now so I'd probably just be sworn at.

Also, where the hell did you get that Pacman costume? XD Did you go to all the trouble of making it?

I agree, the Pacman scream was perfectly suited to him. And the chase sequence set to "I Want Candy" was a bit out there, but awesome. Thumbs up.

Aww...I'm sure you have friends who get it. You just have to dig a little. We weren't really friends,  actually, we're all taking the same film tech course at school (this was our pixelation project) and we became good friends through that. Three of the people are actually in a lower grade than me...

lol...sworn at? Aw well.

The guy who played Blinky made the costume out of some hula hoops and fabric.

lol the scream is actually four different people. We were sitting in the stairwell at school growling into a microphone and people just looked at us and shook their heads...but then they all wanted to be in it. So ha!

And yeah, the chase sequence was really out there- but the movie's about a serial killer pac man...that's kinda out there too. :P

It's kind of a funny story, actually. We were filming the scene with the volleyball and this random old man popped out of the bushes and was like "Is that pac man? I'm a champion of pac man." and we were all just like "...why are you in the bushes? Where did you come from? Why can't we see your lower half?" -______- Worse than the guy who complained our anime video didn't have enough pantyshots.

lol- was there a ghost named Sue? The only ones I could find were Inky Pinky Blinky and Clyde :P.

PS: I showed these pages to the guys in my group and it made them all really happy. Thanks for all the feedback it really helps ^^.

That's the sign of "SUCCESS!"

Awesome stuff. This one of those vids that the humor is not too forced and tacked on. I have to say the clyde part (Ghost intros) was the funkiest.

Now after class is over and all, don't stop :D

RYAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!... or something
