This looks really good, tad unfortunate that it's still under development...

Looks quite interesting. Seems to be pretty useful and fun. I'm a little skeptical about the point-and-click style of it, it might reduce the need to explore and be ingenious making for bad games, but it's certainly promising.

However, it won't mean the end of RPG Maker. I guarantee it.

Yeah, I will definitely try it out when it's ready, though I do feel the same about the whole point & click. For some reason, it sounds and looks kind of kiddy.

But then, that's my opinion.

This is a borderline advertising thread, but I might let it slide if you're all so willing to discuss how this won't be the end of RPG Maker.

Ofcourse, it definitely wont be the end of RPG Maker.
I still have so much to learn, I already thought it didn't quite compare with RM2k ;)

Long live RPG Maker!

It doesn't loo as straightforwardly geared towards RPGs, more towards platformers. Which is cool. I like platformers as much as the next gamer.

I guess it's considerable, seeming it's also for other genre of games.
But I love RPG's, so I wont be AS interested as I am with RPG maker.
Athough it does say that RPG's are optional to make.

We'll just have to wait and see what it's like.
But, i'm pretty sure that RPG maker will still be better :D

Not bad. Might use it in the future... I'm almost certain this won't mark the end to RM yet. RMXP 'Improved' on the methods of its predecessor, yet people still use RM2k3.

Shame there's no 'Final Fight' like options for the maker yet..

Assuming its anything like the system for RPGmaker (Interface, I mean) I'm probably scrapping two or so of my projects on RPGmaker and swapping to this, mainly because it was always my dream to make atleast one noncommercial RPG (Both turn based and action game "rpg"), platformer and shoot'em'up. ;D
