My main qualm with wolf is his final smash being a landmaster.

I mean cloning is one thing but that sh*t is non-canon.

I like wolf. I really don't mind him being a modified clone. In fact that's how I want him. What I do mind is that now wolf seems more similar to fox than luigi does to mario, while samus is left to sit alone flicking wistfully through stellar reviews of the Prime series and wondering if things like "genre defining", or "third best game ever made" really mean anything anymore, glancing up only occasionally when the sound of kirby, metaknight and king dedede conversing about their unique movesets or about how underrated kirby's fucking air ride was becomes a little too loud to ignore.

Brawl is gonna kick ***. But sakurai needs to get his priorities in order.

Wolf: Blaster
Even though one stuns and one is slower, they are all blasters. Anyone denying that they're still the same, despite the fact that they all use guns, is a complete tool. I don't care if it shoots lasers, plasma, stun beams, semen, feces, piss, it's still a blaster.

Side B
Fox: Dash (Fox Illusion)
Falco: Dash (Falco Phantasm)
Wolf: Dash (one that goes a bit into the air)
Again, three different moves with still the same outcome. They all dash forward. I don't care if they go straight, in the air, in the ground, inside your anus, leave holograms, illusions, shadows or skid marks, they are still dashes.

Up B
Fox: Upwards thrust (Fire Fox)
Falco: Upwards thrust (Fire Falco)
Wolf: Upwards thrust (which doesn't lag, and apparently has a wind effect)
You've guessed it, they are still upwards thrust. I don't care if the attack has lag or not or that it leaves fire, wind or farts, you can't deny the fact that it's an upwards thrust.

Down B
Fox: Reflector
Falco: Reflector
Wolf: Reflector
And here we have three moves which have the same outcome, only Falco kicks it forward and Wolf's  only reflects from the sides apparently. But the sad fact is that they still reflect. It doesn't matter if they reflect in all directions or just one, or if they only reflect projectiles or crap thrown at them, they still reflect.

Final Smash
Fox: Landmaster
Falco: Landmaster
Wolf: Landmaster

You're forgetting that Wolf's A-moves are completely different, and that his landmaster is stronger, but the duration is shorter.

Thus, Wolf is only a semi-clone.

You're forgetting that Ganondorf in Melee had different A-moves and was still called a Captain Falcon clone.

Hell, even in Brawl his Final Smash is VERY similar to Captain Falcon Punch's. I mean, take out that "I Falcon Punchdrive you on a racing track and Falcon Pown you by Falcon Drivingoveryou over you" animation sequence, and you have basically the same thing as Ganondorf's.

I don't recall where I saw it, but I heard a rumor that Mewtwo and Roy will be playable in the US and PAL versions (probably as alternate costumes for Marth and Lucario, respectively). People who have cracked the disk have also found model data for Dixie Kong, Dr. Mario, "Pra Mai" (assumed to be Plusle and Minun), Toon Zelda and Toon Sheik. These models are the same size as the Wario-Man, Sheik and Giga Bowser files, suggesting that the models are at least mostly complete.

They made a Twilight Princess-style Sheik - possibly the biggest violation of continuity EVER. If they're already making that big of a plothole, they might as well throw in Toon Sheik too.

Although you can use Landmaster in the multiplayer of Star fox assault. Every character could to be honest.

But Wolf in one is the least possible. Firstly! He is a part of Star WOLF not Star Fox. The Landmasters is somewhat a Star fox only-construction probably built by its master: Slippy.  Star Wolf never attends to ground battle except for Assault but Wolf is so fast that you are only slowed down by it.

Secondly, Falco should have an Arwing. And then Wolf should be a clone of Falco where he would have a Star Wolf version of the spaceship. That's right: A Wolfen.

That's how it should have been done... It's godamn stupid to make another doppelganger of a character like this... Would be better off with Dr.Mario again; you can barely call Luigi a clone of Mario anymore.
Got two different B-attacks now and most of his move set is changed as well. Nothing works like Mario there...

Ah yes, but they explained that in an early draft of TP sheik was a character, so I let that one slide! Remember; TP is the latest game to have content is Brawl so it's possible that they had already made (Or planned out) her character before her removal from TP.

Coincidentally! I totally started replaying Lylat Wars last week (Ahhh such a perfect game) and as soon as he said that line I instantly thought of brawl. ALAS YOU HAVE BEETED ME TO THA (falcon) PUNCH.

@Prpl mage, right on. That is perfectly perfect. Although the arwing is kinda difficult to do as a final smash as it is in constant motion.
I had thought a sort of calling for backup fs where the rest of the team lay it on your enemies from the backdrop a la starfox levels in melee would've been nice too and would have been applicable to any starfox character. Anything's better than WOLFMASTAH TANK.

Excuse me, but isn't Super Smash Bros in itself a complete and total violation of EVERY SINGLE SERIES INCLUDE D'S Canon?

I get so sick of hearing people bitch about canon. They are the ones making the games, if they don't want it to make sense, then they can damn well have it not make sense, people bitching aren't going to change that, and Shiek having a TP esque appearance, and Wolf stealing blue-prints isn't going to actually keep someone from buying and play Super Smash Bros.
