Here's my input.

These characters need to go.

Falco and Wolf just need to go.
Add someone else from the series, maybe Krystal, who would fight nowhere near how Fox does.
Toon link, completely unneeded.
Wario, you already had enough "Mushroom Kingdom" Characters. He felt chunky and very strange to use.
Get rid of Mr Game and Watch, he's cute. But seriously. Just no.
Same with Ice Climbers. They're hardly known, no one really likes them. GTFO.
Yoshi is fine, at the same time it's strange seeing him in there.
Don't re-add solid snake, or you can. Honestly, he doesn't fit, and his moveset is wonky.
Pokemon Trainer wasn't needed. Already have Pikachu, Lucario, and Jigglypuff. Don't include him, please.
R.O.B.. his only purpose was for storyline purposes. Honestly, he was a system. Not really character worthy.
Sonic. Get rid of him, or add Knuckles. Your choice nintendo.

These characters are just, gah. The ones I want gone just don't seem right for a new age game.

Remake or edit these characters.

Give Luigi a vacuum cleaner skill.
Give Mario a "better/actually useful" fludd skill, or just remove fludd.
Metaknight. Remake. Please. For our sake and yours.
Remake Ganondorf (as suggested) Give him projectile beans, and a sword. Two features he's almost always had.



Add These:
Travis Touchdown. Just, a completely  enjoyable personality and his moveset would be pretty stylish.

Add Issac, he's been in three Nintendo Titles, and he would be awesome.

Megaman. Seriously, Nintendo gave Megaman his arms, legs, and spinal cord. Seems like Capcom gave up on adding him in UMvC3. Pick him up and give him love Nintendo.

If sonic is kept, Knuckles would make a great addition.

Krystal, her play style would be very close combat etiquette with beamsaber moves and high athletic ability.

Little Mac. Punch Out for the Wii actually sold very well. It's a very deep rooted Nintendo character, and his boxer style combat seems like someone who would give Marth a run for his money.






So, let me rephrase.
Remove:
MR G&W, Pkmn Trainer, Falco and Wolf, Ice Climbers, R.O.B, Toon Link. Maybe get rid of Yoshi, Snake, or Sonic.

Remake:
Mario, Luigi, Ganondorf, Meta-knight.

Add.
Issac, Travis, Megaman. Knuckles, Krystal, Little Mac

The idea would be great since black shadow is from Fzero, but it's probably just a fan-solution and not something nintendo thought up. I'd like to see a ganondorf that's more twilight princess or windwaker in his moveset than ocarina of time though. And I'd prefer if he wasn't a huge pig.

The word on the web is that namco bandai (most likely the tales off- crew) will be working on the new smash bros. We'll see how much they change and how much different it'll be or if they simply give up. I don't think the melee fanatics would like the new game no matter what they cook up simply because it's not melee.

Characters that most likely won't go:
Those who were in at least 2 titles. Such as game and watch or zelda. Also, olimar will probably be in it since he's getting a new game.

Characters that most likely will go:
toon link, rob, wolf, pokemon trainer, snake, sonic. Any of those pretty worthless characters that aren't popular and added in brawl. Also snake and sonic will probably make room for new guest characters.

Well no. It's just that it's the kind of things that only fans would come up with and nintendo will **** some bricks when they find that post and gets an enlightenment of how they could fix the mess they put themselves in by making ganondorf a cptn fallcon clone.

I like Toon Link, more than Young Link, even. Pokémon Trainer... meh. Sonic, I don't like him.

However, I like Wario and R.O.B. And Game & Watch. And Ice Climbers.

It would be stupid for them to remove him seeing as he is so easy to make. I can't think of any other Zelda characters that would fit his spot better (except maybe 8bit Link).

It's just odd that they added roy and marth. Two characters never released outside japan when they had the perfectly fine FE7 and FE8 on the market. Eliwood would basically be the same as roy just more grown up.
ROB gotta go though. He's fine as a cameo in backgrounds and such but don't really have any history beside stack up and gyromite.

Who says that they even NEED that slot to be filled with another character. Zelda/Sheik, Ganon, and Link. That's enough LoZ characters as stated. No need for more, it's a waste of a slot as he's just a clone. We don't like clones. Clones are boring.

No one, literally no one knew about Ice Climbers. More people know ROB and Mr G&W than Ice climbers...

They can be taken out, Rob, Mr G&w, and Ice climbers, Falco, Wolf, Snake, Toon Link. Wario.

Hell, replace toon link with Minda/Wolf link. That would be a very fun playstyle right there. I can imagine the grabs and skills such a character would have, and I love it.

Link needs a refreshing moveset. His Bow could use a faster charge time, his clawshot can be better (or replaced with the whip) , Skyward sword didn't have a boomerang, I hope new Link doesn't either.
Replace the boomerang with the whip, or beetle.


Issac would have awesome Psyenergy moves, weird earth pillars, and basic psy, like push and such.

I want no characters to be removed. If clones are such a problem for you, why not introduce the idea of advanced skins? You scroll through skins the same way, but some of them take it a step beyond merely changing the palette and give you full model swaps and balance re-touches.

Because I liked Roy, dammit.

While I do agree that clones are not really necessary... I prefer Toon Link over Link. Just like I preferred Young Link over Link. I don't like Link.
I like Ice Climbers and Game and Watch and I don't see why they should be removed. And I did know about the Climbers. Didn't like the game that much, but I did know.
And you said somewhere that Wario should be removed because there is enough people from Mushroom Kingdom. But keep in mind that Wario also have is own series. I also like Wario.

Isaac would make a great addition, though. Maybe another one from the series, too, with slightly different move set, like Jenna or something. This game is lacking on the lady side. Little Mac, I'm not sure... I feel like his move set would be lacking. I mean... his only attacks are punches. Even Animal Crossing characters have more potential for a better move set.
Might as well put Plum from Mario Golf, too.

And yes, screw Snake, he can be removed.

Also, you said that Nintendo has enough other series or something... well, not all that many comes to mind. Or at least, not many with characters that have a potentially good move set.

I wish they'd throw Lucario away and bring back Mewtwo.
