Beta test is in Japan next year!!!
(some believe this summer)

The game takes place 100yrs after the show....so far.. I'm sure they'll change it to like 500 to 1000yrs...

I know a ton of you are like "So what?"

Well I'm like..... well you saw....

I love DBZ this stupid game better not suck!!!
I'll post the few screens they have if no one else post them. <.<
(gotta find them)

It's a official game not a stupid fan based one.

Hopefully iy captures the show's AWESOME~! sequences of standing around screaming for twenty minutes like Benoit on a bad 'roid trip [/badtaste], then yelling some gibberish and shooting an energy blast that's the size of the Goodyear Blimp from your finger. Because what's a DB game without lots of yelling and jibber-jabber about power levels and super awesome transformations that suddenly suck a few episodes after they're achieved?

All kidding aside...

I really am looking forward to this, to be honest. At least it's a DBZ game that isn't a cheap SFEX-wannabe mashfest (Budokai series), a lukewarm Gauntlet clone that has lots of glitches (Sagas (I once fell through the ground and ended up in a zero-grav blank room where Piccolo had a ton of afterimages, or a bad drug trip)) or *shudder* an RM fangame where everybody swears. A lot (COUNTLESS FANGAMES).

EDIT: Thanks for reminding me, Darkfox. Can't forget the hair. The longer your hair, the more powerful you are and the larger your blimp-blast attack is. Unless, of course, you're not a mystical space monkey person who can fly.

I had thought DBZ had finally died. Silly me. There was a joke in an anime magazine once, about the events predicted for the next year? My favorite? The creator of Dragonball etc. dies tragically, having at last drowned in his own money.

He didn't even WANT to do the series after Goku died on Namek, along with Freiza.
But then they made him.

Who would? That ended the best show ever right there. Then it became a big waste of thirty minutes.

I used to wake up each morning before school and watch it, then after that episode, I lost interest RAPIDLY.

As for the "games based on tv shows suck," I agree wholeheartedly. I can't image how bad games based on movies are. You know, the ones that come out a week after the movie is mentioned. -.-'
