Hey, watch out--there's a guy in Puerto Rico who claims to be the reincarnation of Jesus. He's got his own little cadre of followers, as well, you know.

Stuff like this always happens. It happened with comics back in the fifties, for example. Back in the 50's, an organization called the Defense League was created, which censored anything released to the media--nothing could be released without their approval.

At any rate, there are worse things in this world, more corrupt than Pokemon, like Drugs, STDs, and even normal, american films (Hostel, anyone?)

And, starting this over a few dreams is sorta dumb. I mean, come on--I once had a dream I was in a pool with a roaring shark, but that doesn't mean I have a pool phobia!

Look, if we're christians, then we should do as the Bible says: turn the other cheek. These guys will never run out of stuff to rant about. I, personally, ignore the whole thing.

But, yeah.  There are an uncountable amount of things worse than pokemon.  In the past, Dungeons and Dragons was attacked and labels as a demonic and evil game, but not by its players.  Concerned parents and other delusional people that don't understand is all it is...

Damn... Sounds like the usual thing christians do, at least the katoholic(sp?).

I read this article about them saying that Harry Potter is the devil because he does not pray for god's assistance but rather use magic invoked from satan...

I mean damn, if the christians would get their will through then we would backtrack to somewhere around the middle-ages and living after that holy book and eventually go on a crusade to purge the unclean again...

Good thing none of these things occur bakc in Sweden, I'm a pokemon generation from the nineties but I'm not that screwed up that I need mental care.
And I never, let me repeat; Never ever bought or stole any pokemon cards, they didn't ever strike me as instersting.
The game was good, my second rpg ever and the only one that I owned and finished.
