Has anyone else heard of it?

This game looks so cool. I've seen like every gameplay video. Simply amazing. Looks a little confusing from the videos, but I'm sure it becomes simpler when you're actually playing it. It'll use the same physics engine as Half-Life 2. My friend said there was a mod in HL2 where you have the portal gun. Then he said, with its physics system, you could set an opening portal on the ground next to a tall building, and the exit to that portal on a wall, then drop something (or yourself) from the building into the portal and it'll fly out the wall at ultra high speeds. Hitting people and shit.

But anyways. Yeah. Awesome game, thought I'd share.

It's based off a prototype game called (I believe the spelling is) Nabtacular Drop. That thing actually have five playable levels and is one of the most awesome, if slightly buggy, demos I ever played. Look it up - its worth a shot.

Narbacular Drop. I enjoyed that game, and I've been waiting for Portal since before the whole Orange Box, Black Box thing came about. Since Just after Episode 1. Let's just say, it's been a while.

Oh God, Spore is the new Duke Nukem Forever... Spore is a God-Game that goes far beyond the reaches of and Sim City or The Sims game has ever gone. The idea is that you are as close to God as possible, and that you can create entire worlds, even galaxies for your own fun. Create life, build civilizations, focus on one planet or spread your influence, invade other planets and combat other life... It's pretty limitless. And to think that they're shooting for system requirements that are almost the same as with The Sims 2... I don't think they can do everything they promise, but it's fun to wait and watch with anticipation...

And word has it that the Orange Box (Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Team fortress 2, and Portal all in one box for the price of one game) will be released on PC, XBox 360, and PS3 by the end of the year. You'll have to get the Orange Box if you buy the console versions, as that's the only confirmed way that they're sold.

Sounds cool. Any custom content involved? That was my favorite part of The Sims.
