I like it. The word is 'inspired'.

You could probably get a bit more tone in the hair, as it looks a bit flat, but good job.

So that's why I felt as though the sprite should be gently swinging back and forth... Not much shading, but it's a heavy edit so I give you points for that.

Thanks but there aren't many red colors in ms paint : if I make the dark-red, darker than its almost black...
(I hope you got it...)

TIP 1: Don't use the default MS Paint colours - they are too saturated.

TIP 2: Don't use black outlines.  Instead, outline parts of the sprite with a much darker variant of what the contour surrounds.  If you want, you can replace the outermost outlines with a near-black colour to make the sprite seem like more of a "whole".  Simply mix a small amount of a colour (often blue or purple) into the black to create a subtle outline colour.

Sprite 1: Add darker outlines and increase the contrast between shades on the clothing, especially on what seems to be a chest-plate.  Without this, some parts blend with others in an unwanted way, and the sprite ends up flat-looking.  Also, the face needs another shade between the lightest colour and the darker one.  If the second sprite has a shadow, this one should too.

Sprite 2: Don't pillow shade.  Pillow shading is when you add too much shading around the edges (often in an attempt to create an anti-alias effect), which makes the sprite look flat.  Instead, shade where less light would hit the object (just like when you shade a drawing).  After that, add small amounts of anti-aliasing around the inner edges, but not too much.
