I'm having troubles with transparent Sprites...
« on: October 04, 2007, 08:51:09 PM »
Right now, I'm having trouble with all my sprites (including my heroes)... their lower bodies are transparent... I'm not sure what to do. I do have a Paralax background activated, so I'm not sure if it has something to do with that or not.

Whenever I enter into a building, it's fine. It just seems to be on the maps that have Paralax backgrounds...

Thanks for your time,
Lord John

You probably set that terrain to obscure part of the sprite when standing on it (which is normally supposed to be used for forests on a world map or similar stuff like that). There's an option in the Terrain tab in the database to change it.

(That's for 2k3, but it should be in roughly the same place for rm2k; not sure about XP)

Alternatively, you can go to the Chipsets tab and change which terrain the tile corresponds with.

Okay, I think that's probably what I did.
Thanks for the quick response!
