Life Stone
« on: November 10, 2007, 01:32:35 PM »
INTRODUCTION:
The reason I don't complete games, is because I don't really have a flexible plot line. I have a good one now.

STORY:
The king has sent a stone to a temple of monks, after the castle being attacked. The stone is a very ancient artifact, that has the power to resurrect souls. After suspicion of a cult being after it to resurrect their former leader. But somebody in the temple is a agent from the cult, and helps the cult find the stone's were-abouts. Then the cult raids the temple, mortally wounding the stone carrier. The monk flees to a near by village asking Narcisus(main hero.) to take the stone and take it to safety to a fort on a island, Fort Blackwood.

CHARACTERS:
Narcisus
Age:28
POB: Stonewall(capital of country.)
Story: Narcisus acquires a stone from a dying monk, and is told to go to Fort Blackwood.
Role: Hero

Dumbeir
Age:20
POB: Stonewall
Story: Dumbeir over hears the monks and Narcisus' conversation.
He wants to be the big hero, so he tries to steal the stone from you along the way several times.
Role: Minor villain/comic relife.

Haydel
Age: 138
POB: n/a
Story: A cult is trying to resurect him so they can once again fight rule the world.
Role: Major Villain

Features:
Game changing choices-Example* You beat the crap out Dumbeir after his attempt of mugging you.(this is an actual choice.)
You could insult him, or give him credit as a worthy fighter.
If you insult him, he will fight for Haydel and try to kill you later on.
If you credit him, he will just run off, waiting to strike once more.

Cooking System-You buy like 1$ ingredients, then make theme into a 10$ meal.

Alchemy System-To make potions you need different kind of ingredients to make potions with your couldren.

House System-In your house you can save,(normally you have to save in a inn room.) So buying a house you can save there without charge. You can also sleep, free of charge. Then you can also use a couldren for free, and a stove free.

ABS-More than likely.(don't doubt me for this system, I make for every game, and I know how.)

A few extra secrets too. Well I hope this game sounds fun.

UPDATED STORY LINE-
The cult finds out were the stone is going to becuase
the messanger gets drunk and blurts he taking to the Temple of Avaine. There is a cult agent in the bar to.

LONG AWAITED SCREENIES!

This is Fort Blackwood.

ABS Explanation, how it works.

You have to use " x " to block, and " z " to attack. Shift is to interact with stuff, humans ect. You get it...

Once you have pressed x you will whip out a shield. It will decrease damage by 10 points. But for begging monsters that do 2 damage
they will do one.

FIGHTING
Pressing z will swing you weapon, you will randomly hit the enemy.
There 75 chance of hitting the enemy. You will randomly do damage ranging from 3 to 30.

MONSTERS
The most common enemy will be a bandit. They come at you will axes, they have a range of 12-24 health. There damage is 2 ranging
to 12.

HERO
There hero has 100 hp, once it drops to zero you save the world and get a game over screen as a joke. (this is not real.)
The hero can weild a spear, axe, or sword.

With all the games you've been posting, you'll probably get a more positive response and support if you give more than a bunch of text describing your ideas. Even just some concept art, sprites you've done for it, anything that we can readily see, but don't rush a demo or something foolish like that. *smacks self for having done that very thing*

Sounds like a workable framework for a game. Good luck.

Some painting and objects in that bar would give a feeling, maybe some more furniture and a backdoor for the waitress.

And try to make that upper area on the fort a bit smaller, seems really thick unlike the bottom part.
And some more derbis there as well, trees, stoens, bushes. A pond perhaps? You get the point huh?

Thanks for the critisim, I seriously need to work on my mapping skills.
And in other words, If any one wants to donate a couple of resources that would be nice. Just don't give battle backgrounds, or midis, of course no monsters. If you got some plot idears that would by nice to. Of course you could just post theme here.
But if you want to donate resources just email me at
