Alex spritesheet

Those two or three members (I know there's no more than that) who have seen the first "episode" of the new "season" of "avatar wars", "quote" know that Alex will be playing a part in the plot.

Remember Grandy's thread called "I'm an Attention Whore", "I am awesome", etc? Of course you do, he's Grandy. Remember when I asked what characters he was using for Alex so I could at least start the Alex sheet? Of course you don't, I'm X_marks_the_ed.

Well, I made a couple of poses, then stopped due to other interests ( ironically Avatar Wars O.o ).

I'll be putting up what I make for the sheet for approval/disapproval, after all no one's going to use a spritesheet of The Master if it looks like a piece of crap. But the main reason I started this thread was to ask:

What attacks should Alex have?

I know he has to do something cool, but most of the attacks I can think of are too similar. So, toss any attack/pose ideas you have my way, critque me on my work, and so on and so forth.


Current pieces:
Floating (I plan to add him yawning and many more expressions)


Jumping (Just need him getting back up)


Extra poses (Just any random ones I need during animation making)


Bard Attack (As suggested by PPL_mage)

( OMG I actually made these poses myself [except straightening the legs], no copying new parts from another sheet o.O )

Banning (As somewhat suggested by Moosetroop11)

Give him a bard attack. With an animation like Sheik in super smash when you taunt.
He was a harpist after all.

And, I donno... Backlflips perhaps?

I like that idea. I've made him pulling it out, I'll sprite the attack tomorrow. (Oops, I forgot to add shading to the right hand. >.< )

EDIT: Wow. I finished before I had to get off. I decided the attack can be whatever the user wants. (Ice spikes falling from the ceiling, the enemy catching fire, etc. Might be more fun that way. )

EDIT #2 [Boy I have edited a lot of this thread in the past five minutes! >.<]: Tomorrow, I will make Alex sway back and forth a bit while playing, to give him more of a "I'm lost in the music" sort of mood.

Looks great, just seem to have missed the shading on one arm.

Cool. You could make him get out a laptop for a BAN attack. Not exactly Alex's style though, come to think of it.
