« on: January 13, 2008, 09:14:33 PM »
i'm having a little trouble with using lights for my characters in rpgm2k3
I  was using a single light, but i want to give everyone lights but its really annoying because it keeps overlapping and it just looks really bad.
Any help?

It's hard to see whats happening in that picture.
I think you have a big Black square picture.

If that's used to create darkness, I suggest you Use the Tint Screen function instead

What Ive done for all my games is Taken a screen of my Map, Edited Shadow, and Highlights onto it directly in Photoshop, Make a corresponding Light Picture to overlap onto it and save it as a panorama. That way instead of guissing using coordinates for the pictures, It appears over an already altered panorama,

This however takes some time at first, But the results are worth it.

i meant a personal character light in dark rooms, but thats good for specific map lighting, its useful and i might use it but first id need photoshop, otherwise im faced with tedious work and colour problems.
