I am combining two things I like into one fan game.
Star Trek and Xenosaga.

This time I can give you a little more info on the game.
Instead of it being on a Science lab out in the Gamma quadrant, This game takes place on A Science based refit Defiant class on a 4 month rescue mission.

You play the First Officer Yuri Uzuki, as she guides the thrown together crew towards a dangerous space entity.

Story
Star Base 117 was built to house research vessels investigating the Void. A seemingly never ending wall of unknown substance, that once you touch it, makes you vanish.

Once the star base received a distress call from the USS Cathedral Science Ship Broadcasting a code 1 Message stating they are under attack by an alien threat, the Commander of Star base 117, being the only available help around Admitted one of the science-Refit, Defiant Classes to be manned for a rescue mission that would take over four months to accomplish.

Game Play
The game is divided into 2 parts. Morning shift and Night Shift.
In the morning you are free to choose which department you will be the Chief of, and you run your department for a Shift.
The Night shift is always scheduled to be a Bridge shift, where you command the Ship.

The crew are also going to be different for each shift but when you cannot find someone, Just ask the ships computer to locate them.

The game will be all choice driven, Even the battles. And your actions can do suddle things like raise moral, or do big things like Unlock Holodeck Missions, Get more crew members, Build friendships, and increase your characters 'skills'.
Skills:
Phaser Skill- Influences aim, and draw speed. (A High level unlocks Phaser Rifles)
Body Armor- Influences Endurance (levels 1-3)
Engineering- Influences Engineering away Missions
Sciences- Influences Science away Missions
Security- Influences Security away Missions
Medical- Influences Medical away Missions

Equipment
You can equip objects when you have a mission to complete, Like an ENG Toolkit when you need to repair some conduits, or a hypospray for sick Crew, Or a phaser for combat, or a Tricorder For crew messages, or a Padd for Data checks.. And so on...

The maps are Finished for the 4 Decked Ship, I will still need to make all the maps for the away missions and holodeck.
The Music will be Mp3 and Room tone, I'll try not to go too overboard with the file size when I get a demo out.

Pretty nice looking! I especially like the widescreen effect you've got. The text box is also quite impressive.
