Oh, and, a lot of metal songs express rage. I guess punk and some other genres also express rage. But nothing, and I mean - nothing - can express rage like Strapping Young Lad (dozens of their songs express this feeling, but... Force Fed and S.Y.L. are perhaps the best)

I absolutely love any Streetlight Manifesto song. But some of their more touching songs, if you wanna put it that way, would be:

Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe
Moment of Silence
(and) A Better Place, a Better Time

and I love Bright Eyes. Sorry, but Conor Oberst is an amazing lyric and song writer.

Conor Oberst is a freakin AMAZING lyric and song writer with one of the most emotional way of singing. His voice and style is so raw and unrefined sounding, love Bright Eyes.

It is now my duty to bring testicles back to your musical taste buds

Bright Eyes Can Die Now. Go listen to the Mullet Burden, By Dillinger Escape Plan. And then Follow it up with Necrophagist

You listen to Pendulum man? Very nice. Although to be perfectly honsest, I don't like In Silico all that much. I expected some good, solid, dnb and get a bunch of pseudo-rock stuff. I'll just stick to Hold Your Colour.

Oh, I suppose Voltaire. Too lazy to see if I've mentioned him. Gothic cabaret. Writes songs about zombie prostitutes, killing your ex lovers lovers, etc. Pretty cool if you're down for some violin/guitar kind of stuff.

^The only emotion he expresses is like... Anger, or something. Like 200 million extreme metal bands.

Dream Theater - Misunderstood, Disappear (been listening a lot to Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence lately, I love the first disc)
Some funeral doom metal I've been listening to lately, Shape of Despair, Skepticism, Nortt, etc. Very emotional. Can't be bothered with individual songs, they seem to retain the same mood for entire albums anyway.

Damn, you'd think anger was the only emotion available nowadays.

Dr. Demento - Funny Farm. Because chuckling like a 6 year old saying the word "boob" is an emotion too.

Haha, that's not the only thing I listen to, I just like his songs.

I listen to a lot of ****. Rise Against is probably one of my favorite bands. Everything from Dropkick Murphy's to All That Remains to Big D.

Dance with the Devil. The more I listen to him though, he kinda sucks. He's a great storyteller, but he whines and goes off on a tangent when he raps. It sounds very corny.

Might as well post some more hip-hop. These always get me worked up.

The Roots - You Got Me
Lauren Hill - The Ex Factor, Tell Him, Hell the entire freakin' album.
Alicia Keys - You Don't Know My Name
Jay-Z - Girls, Girls, Girls (Actually a joke song but the track is beautiful)
J Dilla - Time: Donut of the Heart
Kanye West - Family Business, I Wonder
Common - The Light, Be
Black Star - Respiration
