Okay, so I thought it would be interesting to have charas characters as minor players in Ember Sky. I posted a topic like this a while ago, but it fizzled. Yes, fizzled. These will be minor players, and in order to get a feel for the kind of game you're thinking about you should read the topic:

Anyway, the classes that can be filled:

1. The Elite
The Elite are a division of high ranking soldiers in Marionna's army. They tend to be skilled both in on element of magic (i.e. fire, water, healing arts, etc) and weaponry. Neither fire or dark/shadow are up for grabs, however. For this, I'll need your description, weapon of choice, element if applicable, and relationship with other characters in the Elite (Arin, Athair, Lyra).

2. The Mage Academy
The Mage Academy is in the capital of Marionna, Arthei, and is highly renowned for both the excellence of its scholars and the snobbery of its students. For this, I'll need your description (you will have a uniform, so don't bother with that), whether you want to be a student or a professor, your element (choose from water/ice, fire, healing arts, wind/electricity, earth) your person's relationship with Evariste, and how they feel about mages who aren't formally educated, like Caolan.

3. Anti-Magic Faction
They hate magic. The vast majority of this faction consists of people who believe that magic is a perversion of the balance. For this, I need a description and an idea of whether you hate mages themselves or just what they do.

4. Townspeople
Shopkeepers, random drunkards, etc. Some relationship with characters would be nice, as well as your description and what all you do.

Dern Ferres
Age: 15
Hair Colour: Orange
Eye Colour: Turquoise/Grey
Occupation: Student
Class: Mage Academy
Weapon: None (unless they're a necessity at the school)
Magic Art: Wind/Electricity

When Dern and Everiste were learning at the academy, Dern had attempted to sculpt himself in Evariste's image, seeing him as a role model and looking up to him.
At some point Everiste had put him down and ridiculed him, now Dern wishes to outdo Everiste in every way possible and some day defeat him in a mage battle(even if he has no hope of doing so). He acts pompous and nolonger likes to be outdone. He is more than willing to point the blame on someone else for his own mistakes and is concidered to be the ringleader of his year, likely through means of aggression and putting others down. A real snob eh?
He looks down on everyone who cannot perform magic just categorizing them as "untalented" in his own words, or "not gifted as I"(he) "am"

Ha, I think I posted something in the old topic... oh well!  Might as well post here anywayz.

Mage Academy: Student-Earth

Daniel's relationship with Everiste is... non-existent.  Daniel doesn't like people who think of themselves as the best because they come from a "great" family.  Ha.  Yeah right.  He feels that Everiste is too snobbish and tries to avoid them at all costs.  When stuck with them, he stays secluded and doesn't speak much, but if he does, it is a sarcastic remark against Everiste.  When asked about people who use magic who are not properly trained to do so, he pauses for a moment and says,"Ha! Tell that to Everiste.  I hope he'll get a real kick out of that one."

Occupation: Schoolteacher
Class: Anti-Mage Faction
Weapon: Sword-cane, perhaps
Magic Art: None, silly. He's anti-mage.

Calzidan was Christophe's teacher in his adolescent years. Calzidan is staunchly anti-mage and anti-magic. However, in his employment in the school, he keeps his hatred secret. From time to time, he slips up, but these are usually quickly forgotten. In recent years, though, he has started to feel more comfortable about making his intolerance known. Nowadays, he would have no qualms about killing a mage if he thought he could get away with it.

Name: Carlexius Mio
Age:43
Hair: Backslick, somewhere between blonde and brown.
Eyes: Blue, violet-ish.
Faction:Elites
Weapon of choice: An axe with uneccessary decorations that reminds of old greek temple that honours Zeus.
Element: Lightning(If that is not taken)

Clothing: Carlexius' face is clad with a small goatee and the hair is backslicked. He appears rather arrogante and overconfidente because of his apparent likeness to apperance and details as well as the need to keep his weapon and clothing clean.
He wear confortable clothing in dark blue and black but keeps a chain mail between the clothing and the armour on his torso. The armour itslelf is decorated with the face of a lion carved in gold. He also wears knee-height boots and gloves that reaches to the elbows made from only the finest leather.

Carlexius joined the elites rather early, he saw it as his duty to protect his noble family's name. He came, he fought and he became one of the most renowned members of the elite.
He carries the expensive items from his family lineage and carries them with proud. He won't stand being looked down upon by any other than Athair or the royal family itself. Most people respect him for his status in his land but other dispite his wealth and glory he had for free.
Carlexius himslef sees himself as above the ordinary people and usually gives orders that can hurt citizens and nature alike.
He also had the honour to fight alongside Lyra while she was still a part of the royal army. Carlexius always saw the royal army as the peak of his carreer before he was offered the position in the elite.
And he joined without hesitation to fight alongside the best knights in the kingdom.

Relations: He looks at Athair with the outmost respect although his respect for the other elite are somewhat worse. He still sees himself as better than the rest.
He cares for Lyra and worries about her decision to begin with but was easily swayed to believe the stories about betrayal and sees her more like a traitor than an ex-general.

Good enough? Feel free to get him killed or edit whatever fits you.

Not even as a guest?Oh ok then that sounds cool but
now i'm wondering why we need weapons if we can't join the party.

Fisherson: Sure, but I can't let you try and kill Arin, given that he is a member of the Elite. They hate his guts, but they wouldn't kill him. Pretty much the only antagonists available at the moment are the anti-mage faction, and if you wanna try and kill Arin, that's go, since Arin does use magic.
Gemini: Your picture. . . hmm. . . in the other topic? In a different unrelated topic? I won't be using facesets unless it's a really important NPC, which pretty much means nobody here.
prpl_mage: Excellent backstory. This is more what I'm thinking, not like deep life-altering stuff, just casual relationships that fit with the characters.
CoolZidane: Christophe is not from Arthei, or even Marionna, and never went to the mage academy if that's what you're talking about. Nor did Caolan. Only Evariste. Where did you want to teach? At a school in Christophe's home country?
Abaddon: I'll probably reduce you to a rival for Evariste rathe rthan a murderous wacko, if you don't mind.

Description: A traveler who gos from places to place, looking for some giant monster that he thinks that exists.  He is also a childhood friend of Caolan, however, Caolan denies meeting him before, just so he won't be embarrassed that he used to be friends with an idiot.

Age: 23
Weapons: Two black daggers, one with gold trim and one with red
Description: Trent is a rather stealthy fellow. He makes a living off other's possessions. He spends most of his time at the pub, robbing houses, or pawning off all the stuff he's stolen. He has a very loud and angry character, but manages to keep his composure when "on the job". He once got into  bit of a fight with Christophe in the pub, and eventually knocked him out. Christophe later woke up missing his wallet and his gun.

I figured it would be a school in Christophe's home country. He would probably teach something unrelated to magic (but something that retained some form of connection to it, like history). At least, that's what I had in my head.
