Gem, I've heard you tell that cat thing before. Where was that and why am I the only one who remembers? 0_o

Apparently a neigbors cat found its way into my attic and birthed a litter, only to abandon it.

Im not sure why you remember. perhaps it was MSN?

We had a rottweiler. I really liked her. She was obedient ( Good word? ) and all. The best dog I had. But one day, she got hit by a car. I wasn't there, though. My father took her to the vet. The operation would cost a lot, and the chance it would work was low. My father had the money, but didn't really want to waste it in case of a failure. That was sad. It really broke his heart.

My brother had a cat. He didn't want it anymore, so he had the brilliant idea to let her live on her own outside. One day, he found her badly injured. She probably encountered a dog or something like that. He couldn't see his cat suffering, so he went on an alley, put her on the ground and... jumped on her head until  death. It really broke his heart. I wasn't there, though.

I had an hamster. I liked her. She was calm, not the kind running around everywhere and she never bit me. One day, my little brother opened the cage and she fled. We just moved in, so there was a lot of boxes and such everywhere. I searched in mostly every spot, until I finally touched something fluffy. So I moved the box, removed the mattress and I found her. I pick her up, look at her head... it was all squished, one of her eyes was poped out and crushed. It was sad.

That's mostly what I can think of.

No, I can't post in this topic about anything. I've experienced far too much death of beloved pets (and family) in some very horrific ways. I'll say "sorry for your loss and (likely) painful discovery", but telling my stories would take up quite a bit of space, and would put me back in my depression hole for about a week.

And nobody likes me when I'm depressed. It just spreads around like the plague.

Jesus ****ing christ, gemini

Anyway, I have four pets that are alive right now:

 - Panchita (dog): Little rat terrier. Really cute, really jumpy and energetic when excited. Also very peculiar, she has an all white body and a solid black head. People have asked if we painted her... o.o She can also stand up really well on two legs for long periods of time, when bribed with chicken. (her favourite treat) I´d definitely hate to lose her, we´re really close.

 - Chulita (cat): All black. Save for her little white "socks" and underbelly. She´s super independent. She is outside when she wants to be outside, and inside when she wants to be inside. She roams around the neighborhood at will, but always returns home. I don´t really worry about her too much, she´s a tough cat, and I think if she ever got in a fight with another animal outside, she´d kick it´s ***. We´re pretty close.

 - Monroe (dog): Old. Very old. He doesn´t do much, just sort of lies around. Me and my friends refer to him as the "living carpet". I have also acknowledged the fact that he´s probably going to die soon. It won´t be that much of a huge loss for me, because I´m not too close to him.

 - Kelly (turtle): New! I´m not really close to her at all. She´s a little turtle, she doesn´t do much... Eats and swims around.

Diseased pets:

 - Yenga (cat): I don´t remember anything about her. I had her while I was really young, and she died of old age.

 - Jimmy (fish): Commited suicide. He was probably in a state of deep depression. Poor guy. *salute*

I´m assuming you´re being sarcastic.

He managed to do a little fishy leap-o´-faith out of his bowl, into the cold, dry, outside world. Since we were out of the house at the time, we came back and he had long since passed away, due to lack of water.

I thought goldfish only had a memory span of three seconds. Odds are, it was an odd accident.
